Working with Guildford Borough Council who are in partnership with the Environment Agency, the long awaited flood defence scheme broke ground during late summer 2015. Still under construction some 4000m3 of clay has been excavated and moved to form a water tight bund to help alleviate the problems Ash Green Village has experienced in recent years. Works are expected to be completed in late spring/summer 2016
